It is well known that chemistry-based solar cells such as perovskite solar cells and dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) are difficult in practice and that it takes a lot of experience to obtain reproducible, well-performing devices. Dyenamo offers economic start-up kits for perovskite and low-power dye-sensitized solar cells, respectively. These kits include the critical pieces of manufacturing equipment, materials and a thorough manual for device fabrication.

Perovskite cell manufacturing kit









Dyenamo perovskite kit includes the critical pieces of manufacturing equipment and materials for making glass-based perovskite solar cells, starting from electrodes with a TiO2 layer. The kit includes all materials required for making 160 perovskite cells. The manufacturing is based on spin-coating the perovskite in combination with a carbon back-contact. A one-year license to Dyenamo's thorough fabrication manual, as well as 4 hours of technical support is included in the kit.

DSSC cell manufacturing kit for low-power applications






This manufacturing kit for low-power DSSC is Dyenamo's response to the increasing interest in R&D on low-power DSSC. It includes the critical pieces of manufacturing equipment and materials for manufacturing laboratory low-power dye-sensitized solar cells. The kit includes all materials needed for making at least 200 glass-based DSSC cells of the size of approximately 1 cm2. The manufacturing is based on screen-printing the TiO2 working and Pt counter electrodes, respectively, and sintering at appr. 500oC. A one-year license to Dyenamo's thorough manual for device fabrication, combined with 8 h technical support is included in the kit. In addition, the kit includes an IV-characterization tool for enabling measurement of the electrical output under ambient light. The kit allows laboratories to efficiently test their own materials in low-power DSSC devices and/or provides an easy entrance to inhouse evaluation of the DSSC technology.
